After closing its original taproom in The Nations, Harding House Brewing Co. is officially back with a brand-new space at 410 39th Ave N in West Nashville. Founder Nate Underwood’s farm-to-pint brewery has expanded far beyond a standard tasting room, transforming the venue into a multi-concept culinary hub anchored by hyper-local craft beer, Lao-infused Southern barbecue, craft cocktails, and regional soft-serve ice cream.
Farm-to-Glass Brewing Meets Smoked Meats
Harding House has long stood out in Nashville’s craft scene for its hyper-local ethos, prioritizing seasonal agriculture and ingredients sourced directly from Tennessee and Southeast growers.
The new West Nashville outpost houses four distinct local concepts operating under one roof:
- Saap Saap BBQ: Helmed by Clinton Spruill and Amy Watson, this acclaimed pop-up has set up its permanent kitchen inside the brewery, serving its signature blend of traditional Southern pit barbecue and bold Lao flavors. The menu features locally sourced smoked meats, handmade egg rolls, house-made Pepper Jaew and BBQ sauces, plus classic sides like mac & cheese and cornbread.
- Harding House Drafts: Pouring rotating taps of farmhouse ales, seasonal IPAs, and crisp lagers brewed with local malts and regional ingredients.
- Jubilee Bar: A dedicated cocktail bar inside the space offering seasonal house cocktails, wine, and zero-proof mocktails.
- Dogwood Acres Dairy: An artisanal soft-serve counter churning ice cream made with local milk and flavored with native regional ingredients like wild pawpaw and honeysuckle.
